BIOGRAPHY

 

Mimmi has always had an interest in singing and acting. She loves the art of classical singing, and keep it close to heart, but she appreciate all sorts of music. Mimmi began her studies as a soubrette soprano and performed the role as Annio from La clemenza di Tito ( Mozart) and Adina from L'elisir d'amore ( Donizetti) before changing fach. As a coloratura soprano she is currently studying The doll from Les contes d' Hoffmann ( Offenbach), Tytania from a Midsummer night's dream (Britten) and Cunegonde from Candide ( Bernstein).

Besides opera she is also trained in the art of musical theatre, which also involves dancing. She has taken classes in ballet, jazz and ballroom-dancing. She has also participated as extra in several screen adaptions and musicvideos.

Mimmi is also a songwriter. She writes her own music based on lyrics, with the voice in focus. She would describe her music as soft country/pop.
